Taylor Zupancic came to ballpark and meant business on Friday, tallying four hits and leading South Rebels JV to a 19-7 win over Brookside Cardinals Junior Varsity. Zupancic singled in the second, singled in the third, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.
South Rebels JV earned the victory despite allowing Brookside Cardinals Junior Varsity to score four runs in the fourth inning. Cassandra Pavlik, Isabelle Fantauzzi, Haileigh Smith, and Autumn Gutierrez all drove in runs in the frame.
South Rebels JV got things moving in the first inning, when Alexa Cesar doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.
South Rebels JV tallied five runs in the sixth inning. Isabella Andow and Cesar each had RBIs in the big inning.
