Rebels Takes Victory Against Aurora In Pitcher’s Duel
Both teams were strong on the mound Saturday, but Rebels defeated Aurora 2-1. Rebels pitchers allowed just seven hits to Aurora.
Brandon Huff pitched Rebels to victory. He allowed seven hits and one run over five and a third innings, striking out four. Steven D’Eusanio threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. D’Eusanio recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Rebels.
Carpenter took the loss for Aurora. He went three innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out four.
Dom Prevesk and D’Eusanio each collected one hit to lead Rebels.
Aurora totaled seven hits. Mcnamara and Loudon all collected multiple hits for Aurora. Mcnamara went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Aurora in hits.
