Rebels Takes a Tough Blow From North
Thursday was a long day for Rebels, falling to North 6-0.
A single by Connor Ashurst in the second inning was a positive for Rebels.
Shreves took the win for North. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out four. Cassidy threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Mitch Ruple took the loss for Rebels. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing eight hits and six runs while striking out five.
Ashurst went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Rebels in hits.
North scattered eight hits in the game. Stergar and Mitchell each racked up multiple hits for North. Stergar led North with three hits in three at bats. North didn’t commit a single error in the field. Higham had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
